It was before going to OCA that I came to love Oil paints. In my last year at OCA I spent a lot of time exploring the possibilities of this media. I looked very closely at the works of Rembrandt, Rubens, the Venetian painters, the French Impressionists, Turner, Constable, the Group of Seven, Graham Coughtry and others. The following are some examples of these explorations, using the figure as subject.
