This Web site came into being because of the friendship we've
enjoyed with Chris and his family over several years, and our
enjoyment of his work.

Webmaster - The Chris Cooper Landscape Gallery
On April 5, 2002, I visited the Level Gallery in Collingwood, Ontario, to attend the opening of an incredible art show.
Here are a few pictures I brought back.

We spend our vacations in Algoma, while
the Coopers have called it home. Like all vacationers, we like
to remember our times with photos. And naturally, some of them
will be of friends. Here are a few from our March, 2001 and 1997,
vacations.
I finally acquire Lone Pine and First Snow . I've wanted this painting since I posted it on the web site. Chris brought it over and presented it
to me on our last night at camp. Ben carried it from Spruce Lake while riding behind his father on the snowmobile.
Chris came over with his father Rudy to visit one
afternoon. Even though it was snowing, the temperature was right
for standing on the porch to talk.
A shot of Chris and Jerry playing guitar. The old
Silvertone Chris is playing never lived up to being called a
guitar, but somehow he managed to get it tuned. I think Jerry
ended up using it dobro style.
Barb and Gi walked over to Spruce Lake one pretty day, and
met Chris on the Trail. Here's one of Gigi and Chris.
