In this project there was an old garage which had been terribly rotted up 4 feet along a 35 foot
supporting wall so that the roof sagged over 18 inches. I was asked whether I could save the building
or build a new one. Building a new one would have cost well over $10,000 however I was able to
save it for less then $3000. This was done by removing the bottom 4 feet of exterior wall along the damaged area, jacking the wall back to a true position, replacing the bottom of each stud, with a second trimmer along side each stud and then redoing the siding. |
